“You could say that writing has been the one constant thread in Elizabeth J. Bond’s life, but it’s only in more recent years that she’s been able to explore her passion for it. Born and raised in Colchester, she studied Modern Languages and Linguistics at the University of Essex, graduating with an upper second-class honours degree in the year 2000. Since then, she has worked in roles as varied as a teacher, a social-services administrator, and a paralegal for an international law firm. Now ensconced in Germany as a freelance writer and translator, she is eager to share her work with as wide an audience as possible. Her interests include learning languages (she speaks fluent German and is proficient in Spanish), classic films, current affairs, history, and genealogy.
She is currently working on a series of books about the First World War, which will hopefully be published later this year.”
